MAFONCINÉ forms professional delegations to selected international film-industry, media and cultural events. Professionals apply through this page; MAFONCINÉ reviews each application for its own programmes and contacts applicants about the next steps.
Depending on the event, MAFONCINÉ’s support can include professional coordination of the delegation, introductions within the industry and guidance on the organizer’s own application procedures. What is offered for a given event is set out to selected applicants before any commitment.
Official accreditation is granted by each festival or event organizer, under its own rules. An application to MAFONCINÉ is not an accreditation request to an event.

Who can apply?
Professionals in the six categories listed above: journalists and media representatives; photographers and audiovisual production teams; producers, directors and film distributors; actors, artists and professional representatives; institutions and professional partners; and professionals seeking to join a MAFONCINÉ delegation. Each listed event states which categories it is open to.
Does an application guarantee festival accreditation?
No. Submitting an application to MAFONCINÉ does not constitute official festival accreditation or guarantee admission to any event.
Who reviews applications?
The MAFONCINÉ team reviews applications for MAFONCINÉ programmes and delegations.
Who grants official festival accreditation?
Each festival or event organizer, according to its own eligibility requirements, procedures and approval. Acceptance into a MAFONCINÉ programme and official accreditation by an event organizer are separate decisions.
Are there participation fees?
No payment is requested to submit an application, and this page does not take payments. Any professional service offered by MAFONCINÉ is described, with its terms, before any commitment.
What happens after submission?
A confirmation appears on screen once your application has been received. MAFONCINÉ then reviews it, may ask you for additional documents, and will send you its decision or instructions for the next stage.
How will applicants receive updates?
